Another set of pics I neglected to post. These are from early February. Nana and Grampa Nelson bought him a pack and play---which was supposed to be used for taking naps....so far the naps last about 10 maybe 15 minutes....but he does love watching his mobile.
These are pics I snapped when he looked at the mobile for the first time. He was so interested and excited....and so were Nana and I. I couldn't help but snatch a few pics. Now we just need to find a way to keep the mobile on continuous play because now he cries whenever it stops and you have to go back into his room and wind it up again.

The Bumbo
I missed a moment....almost.
I came home from school for lunch and to feed Xander and found this.
Yes. This is my little man sitting up in his Bumbo chair. For those of you who are reading this and are not parents....well this means nothing to you. But to a mother who has tried to use this chair for the past 2 months thinking that 'maybe today will be the day' this means EVERYTHING. He is sitting up all by himself. And more than that he is loving every minute of it. He is cooing and squeeking and giggling all over. My little man is sitting up all by himself....well not really because the bumbo chair is contoured to help them sit...but he is sitting there and entertaining himself.
Hooray.--I am certain he will be crawling next week, walking by May and running by June. :)

Johnny Jump Up
The Johnny Jump Up is the best invention ever. --At least this is what I think Xan would scream at the top of his lungs---if he could talk. I took these pics last week and just too busy to blog...but here they are.
Doesn't it look fun....I wish they made them adult size!!!
This terrific toy keeps our little man entertained for over a full hour....which is an incredible length of time for any parent.
