Alexander Eli Day......Blessing March 6, 2010

Yesterday was Xander's blessing...and that word means so much right now.   He is truely a blessing in our lives and we can't imagine our life without him.    And as you can see from the pics below....he is the cutest little guy ever!!     I am so happy and proud of our little family.   Bryce gave Xan the most beautiful blessing and I cried through the entire thing.   Good thing I had friends close by to give me a little hug.   After church we went over to my mom and dad's house for lunch.  It was so incredible to be surrounded by such terrific family and friends.  We are truley lucky to be blessed  with such great people.  Xan is going to grow up with so many people who love him.  Here are just a few pics

As you can see our little man was passed around to every one.  He was such a good baby.   I was sooooooo proud of him.

Finding an outfit for him was quite a task.  We tried to use Bryce's blessing outfit...but it was way too big.  So we started the hunt for a white outfit.  We found a cute one at the Children's Place and Carters...kind of a pieced together look with a cute little sweater vest.  Grandma Nelson bought him this really cute outfit.  We were thrilled....then we got it home and it was waaaaay to big.  So Grandma Nelson went hunting again......So she went to the LDS distribution center and found a darling one in XS.  So we were thrilled.  Saturday before the blessing we tried it on him....URGHHHHHH. TOO BIG AGAIN.  So we went hunting again....with no success.  So Melanie came home and with much screaming from an unhappy little man who was dressed and undressed and pinned and unpinned and several hours of cutting and altering and sewing and unpicking and frustration......we finally had a cute white outfit for our little man to wear.
